Raley’s Extra Credit grants reward accredited K-12 academic institutions and education nonprofits with funds for programs that promote nutrition education, teach food literacy, address food insecurity and encourage physical activity.
Extra Credit grants have always promoted nutrition education, wellness, and food literacy; however, with changes in our world come changes in how we support our communities. We will prioritize programs that feed kids, address their physical safety, or directly impact their mental and emotional well-being.
As schools continue to adapt and the needs of our communities continue to shift, our criteria for Raley’s Extra Credit grants program will stay flexible so that we can also adjust to support our schools and students in ways that continue to make the most impact to their overall health and happiness.

A legacy of giving – 95 years strong!
In celebration of 95 years of serving our communities, our 2027 Charity of the Month program will honor the longstanding partnerships that have helped shape our legacy of giving.
In lieu of an open submission process, we have chosen to award, recognize and support our legacy nonprofit partners investing in the causes most aligned with our mission and prioritize our community initiatives.
2027 partnerships will be announced in Fall 2026.
